In Secondary your child will have multiple teachers, here's a breakdown of the 'go to' people who are available to provide support when needed. 

Secondary Administration 

The Secondary Administration Office is open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 3.30 pm during the term only. If you have any questions or queries, please contact us on 4722 9220 or email secondary@calvary.qld.eud.au. 

Pastoral Care Teacher

Each student is assigned to a Pastoral Care class with one key teacher who will assist in the daily organisation at the beginning of each day. This information will be emailed to families in the week before school commences. 

Heads of House

Students belong to a House Family and are looked after by a Head of House. The Head of House is a teacher who looks after the student welfare of each House Family group at Calvary. You will find them front and centre at all of our Sporting and House events working with our House Captains to grow and create a fun and positive House culture. They also work with students on behaviour, welfare and social issues that arise across the year. A Head of House is someone you can chat to, ask advice of and help answer questions about school life. 

Head of Student Services

The Head of Student Services oversees the College Student Services Team which includes the Student Support Counsellor, Chaplaincy Team, Defence School Mentor and Cultural Liaison Officer. Working with the Heads of House, these key people support our students through the various challenges they may face in school and life.

Subject Teacher

Connect with your child's subject teacher if you have any questions or concerns about the subject matter, homework or assessment throughout the year.

Heads of Department

Throughout the year, students or parents/guardians may have questions regarding a particular subject or assessment that would be answered by the Heads of Department. The Heads of Department guide and direct the teacher in each subject area when it comes to curriculum and teaching and learning. 

Directors and Assistant Directors of Secondary

These key roles oversee all that occurs in the Secondary College. At times you may be directed to one of these team members.
