The College is currently inviting applications for a Part Time, 0.4 FTE Secondary English Teacher commencing Term 2, 2022 upon successful application.
Reporting to the Director of Secondary College, this role is responsible for providing quality instruction within the College’s Biblical framework and in accordance with the Australian Curriculum requirements.
The ideal applicant will have the following qualifications and experience:
- Relevant teaching qualifications
- Current Queensland College of Teachers registration
- Support the Christian ethos of the College
- Have the ability to demonstrate a Christian worldview
- Cooperatively work as a member of a team
- Effectively communicate with management, staff, students and parents
- Demonstrate effective classroom teaching and classroom management procedures which reflect current teaching trends

Reporting to the Director of Secondary College, this role is responsible providing quality instruction within the College’s Biblical framework and in accordance with the Australian Curriculum and QCAA requirements.
The ideal applicant will have the following qualifications and experience:
- Hold relevant educational qualifications
- Maintain Queensland College of Teachers registration or have the ability to obtain registration
- Have the ability to demonstrate a Christian worldview
- Possess the ability to teach Senior Mathematical Methods
- Cooperatively work as a member of a team
- Ability to effectively communicate with management, staff, students and parents
- Demonstrate effective classroom teaching and classroom management procedures which reflect current teaching trends
- Be supportive of the Christian ethos of the College
- Experience in teaching QLD Senior syllabus mathematics is preferred

The College is currently seeking expressions of interest for an external contractor to fill the role of Brass Tutor/Band Director commencing Term 3, 2022.
The Performing and Creative Arts (PACA) Program is a dynamic program that offers 30-minute weekly lessons to Primary and Secondary students through skilled and specialised Tutors, on-site at the College each week.
This role included building the College’s Instrumental Program by running and growing our Bands and Ensembles.
The ideal applicant will have the following qualifications and experience:
- Relevant brass instrumental qualifications
- Experience tutoring in both an individual and group setting
- Experience with Bands, Ensembles and Eisteddfods
Hours and income are dependent on the number of student bookings secured.
