Attendance

Our preferred method of reporting student absences from the College is through Parent Lounge via the MyCalvary App. You can also email away@calvary.qld.edu.au or call the Absentee Hotline on 4722 9206. If the College has not received notification of an absence and the student is not present at the College, an automated email or text message will be issued to parents/guardians. Should there be any discrepancies at the time of receiving the notification, please contact the College.

Late Arrival/Early Departure

If your child is arriving late to the College (after the 8:30 am bell), please report to the Primary Office to sign in and obtain a late slip for your child. 

If you need to collect your child from the College at any time for an appointment, or early departure, please ensure this is prearranged with the Primary Office the morning of by emailing away@calvary.qld.edu.au or phoning 4722 9213. Please present to the Primary Office to sign out and collect your child.  

Prior notice assists with a timely collection and eliminates unnecessary disruptions to the classroom during teaching time. Frequent calls to the classroom during lesson time is distracting for both teachers and students. Please note a request for early departure with short notice cannot be facilitated. 

Please also consider break times (10:40 to 11:20 am and 1:20 to 2.00 pm) inter school school sport, swimming lessons, Chapel and Assembly when arranging a time to collect your child. If your child has left early and would usually attend ABV Care or catch the bus, please ensure you have notified/cancelled these services.
