Secondary News | End of Term 4, 2021

Please note that the Secondary Office will be closed from 3.30pm - Friday, 3 December, reopening Monday, 17 January 2022. The College Reception and Finance Offices will be closed from Monday, 20 December 2021, reopening Thursday, 6 January 2022.

In the classroom, technology is used as an educational tool that supports and enhances our students’ learning journey.  In order to prepare students with the knowledge and skills to engage in the digital world during their schooling and in their chosen pathway beyond school, the College is committed to each student having access to a device. In 2022 the College will complete the roll-out of one-to-one devices across the College:

  • Year 8 to 12 – BYOD (mandatory)

Secondary General Excursion Permission Form 2022

Please click on the below link to complete the Secondary General Excursion Permission Form for 2022. Throughout the year, your child will attend a number of off campus activities. This needs to be completed as soon as possible. Secondary General Excursion Permission Form 2022


2022 Lockers Contracts (Years 8 - 12 Only) 

Lockers are available to all students in Years 8 - 12, however contracts are only required if your student did not have a locker in 2021 and requires one for 2022.

Please see attached form for completion and return as soon as possible.  A Locker Fee of $10 is required annually for the maintenance of the locker provided. This is to be paid to the Finance Office prior to being allocated a locker.

Payment can be made either: over the phone (4722 9210) by credit card, at the finance office or online using the following details:

CARPARK UPDATE

To help our carpark flow efficiently and effectively, please take a moment to review the carpark flow diagram.  Please note particularly the following:

  • Direction of traffic flow;
  • No parking zone (highlighted in yellow);
  • Stop, Drop and Go Zone – no parking, strictly 2 minutes only, driver to remain in vehicle at all times;
  • Pedestrian crossings – vehicles to give way to pedestrians always.

Our College buses also use the Stop, Drop and Go area for pick-up/drop-off for school excursions throughout the day, parking before and after school, and in the instance of extreme wet weather.  

Let’s work together to make drop-off and pick-up run as efficiently and safely as possible.

Hospitality Food Drive

Please help the Hospitality classes to help create food hampers for families in our local area during the holiday period.  Each week, we are asking students to bring in any of the following items: tuna, tinned fruits and vegetables, rice, pasta, pasta sauces, sugar, tea, coffee, milo, cereals, tinned baked beans/spaghetti and biscuits. Please drop your contribution off to the Hospitality Centre or to Mrs Slater and this will be recorded against your PC class.  Highest recording PC class at the end of week 7, wins a PIZZA PARTY!!!
