Welcome Back to Term 2
Welcome Back to Term 2
Dear Calvary Christian College parents and carers,
Welcome back to Term 2 at Calvary Christian College! I trust the Easter holiday break provided time for rest, joy and meaningful reflection on the death and resurrection of Christ. As we begin a new term, we do so with renewed energy and great anticipation for the learning, growth and experiences ahead.
A very warm welcome to our new students, families and staff joining us this term. It is my prayer that you quickly feel at home, build strong connections and experience the positive culture that makes us Calvary Strong.
Our focus for 2026 remains anchored in our College verse, Matthew 25:21 - “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Throughout the year, students will continue to explore and live out our core values of excellence, perseverance, goodness, faithfulness and generosity. These values are intentionally taught and modelled in classrooms and playgrounds alike, as students are encouraged to do their best, keep going when things are challenging, trust God and use their gifts to serve others.
Term 2 is already shaping up to be a busy and exciting one. In the first two weeks alone we have ANZAC Day assemblies, the K-2 Fun Run and Cross Country – plenty of opportunities for students to participate, persevere and show plenty of spirit. I am looking forward to cheering on every student and am even racing against our Open boys in the 6km race!
I am excited about the term ahead and all that it will bring – smiling faces, a love of learning, steady progress and many opportunities for students to develop the God-given gifts and talents He has entrusted to them.
We are excited for all that we will achieve together and thank you for your continued support and partnership as we journey this term.
Yours in Christian Education,
Paul Thompson
College Principal
