Term 2: Faithful steps into the second quarter

Welcome Back! I hope you had a refreshing Easter break. It was wonderful to celebrate together during our Easter Chapel services, reflecting on the incredible hope we have in the risen Christ.

A Strong Start to Term

Term 2 is already full of momentum! Our ANZAC commemorations were a moving reminder of service and sacrifice. It was particularly exciting to see our Eaton team with an excited student group, marching with such pride. Thank you to everyone who participated in our Primary College service and the ANZAC March on The Strand. We look forward to continuing in a tone of remembrance and reflection at our Secondary College ANZAC assembly this Friday. A special shoutout to Ms Kelli Watson, our Defence Mentor, for her outstanding organisation and ongoing support of our Defence students — we are so grateful!

Thank you to our Support Teams!

Our grounds look amazing after the big clean-up over the holidays — a huge thanks to our maintenance and cleaning teams for their hard work after the rain events. Behind the scenes, our IT team has been fine-tuning systems and resources to better support teaching and learning — your efforts make such a difference!

Parent-Teacher Interviews

Thank you to all families and teachers who participated in the recent Primary and Secondary Parent-Teacher Interviews. Strong partnerships between home and school are key to each student's success.

Important Reminders for a Safe Term

Please help us keep our College a safe place for everyone:

* Speed limit onsite is 15km/h — please drive slowly and carefully, especially in areas shared by vehicles and pedestrians.

* The 'Stop, Drop and Go' zone is for drop-offs only — please do not park in this space.

* Supervision begins at 8:00am — students arriving before this time are not supervised. We've noticed an increase in early drop-offs, and for everyone's safety, we ask for your support in following this guideline.

We take the safety of our students very seriously and appreciate your partnership in this.

Anchored in Our Values

As we move into this new term, let’s realign with our College values: Excellence, Perseverance, Goodness, Faithfulness, and Generosity. May these qualities be seen in our learning, our service, and our relationships, as we live out the call to hear: "Well done, good and faithful servant." (Matthew 25:21)

Looking Ahead

I'm excited for all that God has in store for us this term. Let's step forward with energy, joy, and purpose — building strong foundations together.

May God bless you with peace and joy as the second quarter gets underway!
