God's Good Work in Every Season

What a joy-filled and inspiring week it has been at Calvary! Our Secondary Awards Evening was a truly outstanding celebration of student achievement, dedication, and character. A highlight for many was the performance by our Jazz Collective—an absolute standout! Their musicianship and energy reminded us that “whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31).

A heartfelt thank you to Mr Kane Stone for his tireless work and commitment to our Creative Arts program. His passion has enriched our College community in countless ways. While we are sad to see him and his family move on, we pray God’s richest blessings over them in the next chapter of their journey.

Congratulations also to our newly appointed 2026 Secondary College Student leadership team!

We look forward to seeing how God will continue to grow their leadership and influence. As Proverbs 16:3 encourages, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.”

As we move through Term 4, our days remain full, purposeful, and productive. Planning for an exciting 2026 is already well underway. We are delighted to welcome Mr Paul Thompson as our incoming Principal next year, and I am deeply confident the College is in good hands—both God’s and Paul’s.

Today marks the beginning of Year 12 external assessments, and we stand proudly alongside our graduates as they face this final stretch with courage and grace. Their invested preparation has been evident, and we are thankful to Mrs Slater for her faithful coordination and supervision of these important weeks, and special thanks to all our senior subject teachers, who have worked tirelessly to support and encourage our year 12 students to finish well.

In the weeks ahead, we look forward to the Creative Arts Celebrations, showcasing all things PACA—a time to honour the gifts and creativity that God has planted in our students. Likewise, our recent Ignite “Come and Play” event was a wonderful success! It was such a delight to see so many enthusiastic pre-preppies exploring our beautiful new Calvary Prep building—a tangible reminder that God is indeed doing “immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine” (Ephesians 3:20).

Each day, I am reminded what a blessing it is to work in a place where we are invited to serve, grow, challenge, and learn—together, for His glory. May we continue to be steadfast in all we do, “not growing weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” (Galatians 6:9).

Grace and peace,

Mrs Robyn Hair
